Gulet Cruises

Blue Cruise" is the name of a cruise that takes place along the coast of Turkey onboard a traditional Turkish schooner, a wooden boat measuring around 20 or 30 metres and generally able to accommodate between 8 and 16 passengers.

Schooners can be propelled by sail, but they tend to use a motor when travelling along the coast. The schooners we operate are manned by a crew who are at the customer’s disposal 24 hours a day.

Regardless of size and capacity, the schooners we use are classed as standard, luxury or high luxury vessels. The luxury and high luxury craft have air conditioning. Most of our schooners have cabins with en suite bathrooms and toilets.

There are two types of schooner hire arrangements:

- Hiring a cabin: it goes without saying that hiring a cabin means sharing the boat with other customers. The dates and itineraries involved are fixed. Standard schooners are generally used for such arrangements, although the specific boat for each cruise is only confirmed a few days prior to setting sail, as the final decision depends on the number of passengers taking part.
- Hiring an entire schooner: luxury and high luxury schooners are used for arrangements of this kind. The type of boat to be used, its capacity and the itinerary are chosen in advance, along with the ports at which passengers embark and disembark.

The countries in which such rental arrangements are most common are Turkey and Croatia.
