Yachts in Mahe

Mahé is the largest island of the Seychelles and lies in the northeast of the nation. Victoria, the country’s capital city, is located on Mahé, and 90% of the population of the Seychelles live on the island.

With an altitude of 905 m, Mahé’s highest peak is Morne Seychellois, standing in the national park of the same name.

The northern and eastern parts of Mahé are home to much of its population and its international airport (opened in 1971). The Baie Ternay and Port Launay national parks are situated in the southern and western parts of the island.
