Castiglioncello lies in the province of Livorno. It is a small cape at the end of the Livornian mountain chain, and is an internationally renowned tourist town. Known as the “pearl of the Tirreno”, it has its own unique magic. Here one finds red reefs, secluded bays, beaches and coves with crystal clear water, and private spas. Castiglioncello, is also a town of sports, where one may practise all water sports, tennis and trekking. In Chioma lovers of deep sea diving from all corners of the world come together. The beaches of transparent sand such as those of San Vincenzo and Baratti compare with the darker sands of Marina di Castagneto, Bibbona and Cecina, and with the wind sculpted reefs, whose depths house a multitude of fishes.

The climate is temperate with mild temperatures all year round, with “sweet” springs, long summers, and with autumn and winter having scant rainfall, allowing holidays to be made throughout the entire year.
