Commonwealth of Dominica is an island and a state in the Caribbean. Is between Guadeloupe to the north and Martinique to the south.

The terrain is volcanic and the island is covered with forests with torrential rivers. Trafalgar Falls are among the many waterfalls to visit and are located near the capital, Roseau. Among the gaps and sulphurous springs highlights Boiling Lake. There is no road leading to the lake. In order to get there, people have to hike about 13 km, total of three hours one way. Another visit you cannot miss is the Morne Trois Pitons National Park, World Heritage Site since 1997. Here you can see active volcanism in the Valley of Desolation, a region of boiling mud ponds and small geysers.

The best well protected bay to anchor is Prince Rupert Bay.
