Boats in Greece

A southern European country and part of the European Community, Greece is situated in the south of the Balkan Peninsula. The territory of Greece includes its mainland, the Ionian Islands, the island of Crete and almost all the islands of the Aegean Sea.

Greece’s coastline features numerous inlets and protrusions. Despite the Greek peninsula being the smallest of those in southern Europe, it boasts the most extensive coastline.Generally  warm and dry, the country’s climate is wholesome. There is no better way to discover the scattered Greek islands than to sail among them, on a sailing boat all of your own or a vessel shared with other tourists, spending nights in picturesque harbours or secluded coves, and visiting small fishing harbours and traditional taverns.
