Sail Yacht in Toscany
The region of Tuscany is found in the centre of Italy. It borders with the region of Lacio to the south, Umbria to the east, Emilia-Romaña and Liguria to the north, and the Tirreno Sea to the west. It is one of Italy’s 20 regions.
The capital is Florence, and the region extends to 22.990 km².
The UNESCO names six places in Tuscany as World Heritage sites. These are: the old town of Florence, the old town of Sienna, the Cathedral Square of Pisa, the old towns of San Gimignano and Pienza, and the Valley of Orcia.
The climate is temperate with mild temperatures all year round, with “sweet” springs, long summers, and with autumn and winter having scant rainfall, allowing holidays to be made throughout the entire year.
