The easiest way to get there is through one of its international airports. Istanbul’s Atatürk Airport is the main one, but there’s also Sabiha Gökçen, Antalya, Bodrum, Izmir, and Dalaman airports.
The best time to sail in Turkey is between May and October. In summer, temperatures are quite high, but in spring and autumn they range between 18 and 26 degrees, making it the ideal time to go.
The official currency is the Turkish lira, so you’ll need to exchange money at one of the many exchange offices, hotels, or banks available. The official language is Turkish, but you won’t have trouble communicating in English.
