Greece has around 40 national and international airports. The main ones are in Athens and Thessaloniki, where you can make a stopover if your final destination is one of its wonderful islands. In addition, there are many ferry lines available at affordable prices.
In Greece, temperatures range from 18 to 26 °C, and can reach up to 35 °C during the months of July and August. During this period, a wind known as the Meltemi—which blows from the north of the Balkans—is common. It brings strong winds, especially in the Cyclades islands, due to the lack of surrounding mainland.
It depends on the type of boat you want to rent. If you’re renting a motorboat, you need a license if it has more than 30 HP; if it has less, a license is not required. To rent a yacht, you must have a valid license and a sailing resume detailing the boats you've operated and the waters you've sailed in.
