Day 1

Palamós - Begur

10 nautical miles

The first day we embark with our sailboat or rental yacht from Palamós, a population of 17,000 inhabitants that has become a tourist center of the first magnitude. We can enjoy the main sandy beach or the beautiful nearby coves, such as Cala Margarida, a cove of stones and shallow waters surrounded by small fishermen's houses. Palamós also has a long and quiet promenade, a very active shopping center and a lively nightlife in summer, with pubs and bars concentrated in the port area.

Day 2

Begur - L'Estartit

9 nautical miles

On the second day, we head to Begur, a town with numerous coves such as Illa Roja, Aiguablava, Sa Tuna, and Sa Riera, most of them surrounded by lush vegetation and steep cliffs. If you are in the mood for a demanding excursion, you can also visit Begur Castle, the ruins of a sixteenth-century fortress overlooking the sea and the entire municipality of Begur.

Day 3

L'Estartit - Roses

17 nautical miles

On the third day, we disembark in L’Estartit, a coastal town belonging to the municipality of Torroella de Montgrí, which in recent years has become one of the most prized destinations in the world of scuba diving thanks to its proximity to the Medes Islands, located one mile from the coast. The archipelago, declared a natural reserve, is made up of seven islets with rocky seabeds and underwater caves that make it a perfect space for scuba diving and snorkeling. Leaving the port heading north, we can find numerous coves along the Montgrí coastline.

Day 4

Roses - L'Escala

10 nautical miles

Today it is time to visit Roses, a town with an important fishing port and a great tourist center. It has great beaches such as Platja de Canyelles Petites or Santa Margarida beach. There are also historical monuments such as the Castillo de La Trinidad built in 1543 and overlooking the sea from a great height, or the Ciutadella de Roses, the ruins of a large fortification located near the center of town.

Day 5

L'Escala - Calella de Palafrugell

18 nautical miles

On the fifth day, we head towards L’Escala, a municipality with an important fishing port and known for its famous anchovies, distributed by various local companies. There, we can enjoy several crystal-clear coves, such as Cala Montgó, or beaches like El Portitxol. Near the town, we will find the Ruins of Empúries, the ancient remains of a Greco-Roman city located by the sea.

Day 6

Calella de Palafrugell - Tossa de Mar

19 nautical miles

Today we go to Calella de Palafrugell, one of the most appreciated places on the Costa Brava. The town has numerous coves, such as Aigua Blava, Port Peregrí or Cala de Sant Roc. All of them with crystal clear waters and great tranquility, and some with high quality restaurants a few meters from the beach. It also has Far de Sant Sebastià, a place with views of a large part of the coast and a bar to appreciate them in peace.

Day 7

Tossa de Mar - Palamós

13 nautical miles

As the last destination before returning to the starting point we have Tossa de Mar, a town full of beaches and coves such as Cala Giverola, surrounded by cliffs. But that's not all, since during the journey you can enjoy views of the sea from a great height and different viewpoints that are near the road to Cala Giverola. There is also the option of visiting Vila Vella, the ruins of a castle overlooking the sea and the town of Tossa de Mar where you can walk to appreciate the old coexistence area of the town.

Day 8

Palamós Marina

On our final day of the journey, we return to Palamós, the starting point of this wonderful adventure along the Costa Brava. After a week filled with breathtaking landscapes, hidden coves, and charming villages, returning to Palamós offers us the chance to relax and reflect on all that we have experienced. We can take advantage of the moment to enjoy one last stroll along its lively promenade, visit the Fishing Museum, or stop at one of its lovely terraces to savor a delicious local dish. With the sea and the wind as our witnesses, we conclude this journey along the Costa Brava—a trip full of unforgettable moments, stunning scenery, and a unique connection with the nature and history of the region.
